Basic Metrics Tracking
Apxor lets you track three basic metrics from the four available metrics :
- Daily Active Users (DAU)
- Weekly Active Users (WAU)
- Monthly Active Users (MAU)
- New Installs
Daily Active Users
The number mentioned on top indicates Daily Active Users (DAU) of 24th April 2020.
- This data can be obtained from the dashboard on the day of receiving the Daily Digest Report by clicking on the Yesterday option on the Global Date Range
Apxor lets you customize the deviations on a daily base, weekly base, monthly base.
- For Daily base, the deviation will be between the present day and yesterday (i.e 24th April vs 23th April)
- For Weekly base, the deviation will be between the present day minus 7 days (including the present day) (i.e 24th April vs 17th April)
- For Monthly base, the deviation will be between the present day minus 30 days (including the present day) (i.e 24th April vs 25th March)
Note: We have taken the first case to explain the example
Deviations are calculated by the difference in the DAU of the Present Date and Previous Day’s Date
- For Example: The DAU as of 24th April is the present date (i.e 24th April 2020). The DAU for yesterday will be 23rd March. These two user counts are taken to calculate deviations.
The Percentage Difference can be calculated by the formula :
- A negative value is indicated by a Red Arrow ▼ indicating a decrease in the count and a positive value is indicated by a Green Arrow ▲ indicating an increase in count.
- For Example : The Daily Active User on the present day (24th April 2020) is 19580, the DAU count for yesterday(23rd April 2020) is 21650, then the percentage difference is calculated as
[(19580 - 21650) / 21650] * 100
leading to -9.56. The report will indicate this value by a Red Arrow ▼ indicating a decrease of 9.56%
Weekly Active Users
The number mentioned on top indicates Weekly Active Users (WAU) as of 24th April 2020.
- Apxor calculates its WAU as the Present Date minus 7 days (including the Present Date).
- This data can be obtained from the dashboard on the day of receiving the Daily Digest Report by clicking on the Last 7 Days option on the Global Date Range
Deviations are calculated by the difference in the WAU of the recent week (last 7 days) and the previous week (recent week date minus 7 days ).
- For Example: The WAU as of 24th April (the recent week) is the number of users between 24th April minus 7 days (including the Present Date) which will be 18th April - 24th April. The WAU for the previous week will be the Recent week minus 7 days, which will be 11th April - 17th April. These two user counts are taken to calculate deviations.
The Percentage Difference can be calculated by the formula :
- A negative value is indicated by a Red Arrow ▼ indicating a decrease in the count and a positive value is indicated by a Green Arrow ▲ indicating an increase in count.
- For Example: The Recent Week User count is 120540, the previous week user count 125920, then the percentage difference is calculated as
[(120540 - 125920) / 125920] * 100
leading to -4.27. The report will indicate this value by a Red Arrow ▼ indicating a decrease of 4.27%
Monthly Active Users
The number mentioned on top indicates Monthly Active Users (MAU) as of 24th April 2020.
- Apxor calculates its MAU as the Present Date minus 30 days (including the Present Date).
- This data can be obtained from the dashboard on the day of receiving the Daily Digest Report by clicking on the Last 30 Days option on the Global Date Range
Deviations are calculated by the difference in the MAU of the recent month (last 30 days) and the previous month (recent month date minus 30 days ).
- For Example : The MAU as of 24th April (the recent month) is the number of users between 24th April minus 30 days (including the Present Date) which will be 26th March - 24th April. The MAU for the previous month will be the Recent month minus 30 days, which will be 25th February - 25th March. These two user counts are taken to calculate deviations.
The Percentage Difference can be calculated by the formula :
- A negative value is indicated by a Red Arrow ▼ indicating a decrease in count and a positive value is indicated by a Green Arrow ▲ indicating an increase in count.
- For Example: The Recent Month User count is 331800, the previous month user count 437580, then the percentage difference is calculated as
[(331800 - 437580) / 437580] * 100
leading to -24. The report will indicate this value by a Red Arrow ▼ indicating a decrease of 24%
